Abstract

Wikipedia stands tall amongst projects of the open movement worldwide. It is the de facto reference point for crowd-sourced content. One prevalent question everyone asks is who owns data that sits on Wikipedia? Who can use it? What are the conditions of usage. Wikipedia content carries the CC BY SA 4.0 license, my presentation will explain the types of Creative Commons licenses available and they flexibility of each license. After my presentation, participants will better understand these licenses and how they work
